Holiday Toy Drive

United Senergy to Spread Joy in Low-income Homes this Holiday Season

Join the drive to provide toys, gifts for Boston neighborhood residents

United Senergy, a Dorchester non-profit, is committed to making a difference this holiday season for children and families where job loss due to COVID-19 and other difficulties make it tough to pay rent and put food on the table.

“Given the massive unemployment and other difficulties impacting residents of low-income neighborhoods, the reports we get are that many children may be without a gift this holiday season,” said Danquell Bradford, Founder/Director, United Senergy. “We are not going to let that happen!”

Bradford is reaching out to local and national companies and individual donors to ensure that children in need receive gifts for Kwanza, Christmas, Channukah or whatever holiday they celebrate.

“This is the season to be joyful,” said Bradford. “And if we all work together we can bring joy and hope to families who are struggling, who feel abandoned.”

Can you help? A donation to the United Senergy Holiday Toy Drive will go a long way toward putting a smile on children’s faces this holiday season.  Along with toys, games, clothing and gift certificates, Bradford and colleagues at United Senergy plan to provide laptops and tablets for teens and school-age children. But they need your help!

Please consider a holiday donation or provide a new unwrapped gift to the United Senergy Holiday Toy Drive. You can make a donation online at www.unitedsenergy.org.

Toys and gifts can be dropped off at Alliance Glass, 906 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, MA 02125 anytime from Monday – Friday between 9am-4pm.

United Senergy, based in Dorchester, is dedicated to reducing the economic, health and technological disparities that afflict low-income people and communities. www.unitedsenergy.org
